having grown up in Shreveport, I always took for granted all that it had to offer. Until now. Funny how time away causes you to look back and appreciate things you formerly thought commonplace. Although most everyone knows Shreveport as the place to gamble, only going to the boats is like going overseas and eating only at McDonalds... Shreveport is not at the top of most anyone's list, but you will find a nice blend of old-South and small-town charm.
