My dad and uncle worked at the potash company before the 1941 strike my brother was born there they built a house back then I think it was like an adobe house, my aunt & uncle lived there & I use to go there in the summer for a week or 2 for summer vac in the 50's use to go to valley wells loved it, I'am planning to go back and visit maybe in Oct when it is cooler, just to see the changes and see if the house is still there.
