Sonoma is a lovely small town located in the Wine Country region, in Northern California. It's a good base for visiting the wineries around .
I stayed there for a couple of days during my visit to California and found it a very laidback and relaxing town , with a beautiful square, cute shops and nice restaurants. |

VeronicaG Mon Aug 24, 2009 22:28 UTC The countryside throughout Sonoma is very scenic, making it a pleasure to explore the backroads which lead enticingly to the wineries. Thanks for introducing me to more great places to see when visiting Sonoma! | Herkbert Sat Jul 12, 2008 18:07 UTC Hi Teresa.. Nice tips and pics. We travel to wine country every couple years but have always stayed in Napa Valley. We'll have to give Sonoma a try. Happy travels.. Tom |
