Ubud, a small town in the center of Bali, is considered its cultural center. Its well known for its amazing rice fields, woodcarving, crafts and all type of balinese arts.
Many people can go to Ubud just to look around and spend the day but many prefer to spend a few days. I advise anyone going to Bali to spend at least a couple of days in Ubud, as it's an amazing place.
There is accomodation for all budgets, from small bed and breakfasts to luxury resorts. Some of the best resorts in Bali are located in Ubud.
There are lots of small shops, cafes, restaurants and its ambiance and atmosphere is unique and the surrounding areas are beautiful, with amazing landscapes. |

It's wonderful how they change with the sunlight throughout the day. Got up at first light to photograph them and got to see the worker's as they walked to work. |
