The Island where smell honey

Something about Thassos

this time more generally :))

The island full of pine trees in Kavala department :) located southwest of the delta of the Nestos River in Thrace with an area around 379 km square. Thanks Herodotus who was for sure graphoman and couldn't stop writing and making notices we know that there was Phenician settlement in 7th CT that worked in gold mines. Today there is tourism gold mine :) The "capital" of Thassos is Thassos, how easy :) where you can find everything you need for good holiday. ;)

(I don't think it is too general but everytime when I start seriously I couldn't keep the line..)

A story on the way back from this beautiful island

Well, this is really unbelievable what happened to me that time ... ;)
When we left Thassos and came to the Greek border there appeared a problem. I was the only one traveller with a different passport because the bus was full of Serbs just me one Slovak. Well, pretty suspicious :) And the coordinator of the whole transport came to me and said that the Greek officer wants to see me. I went there to the board and he started to ask me questions like where are you from etc .. If he tried like Tell me the numebr of your passport I am still there :) or in jail because I don't like numbers at all. But suddenly the question came> How old are you? I just smiled and wanted to answer but ... believe or not I forgot how old I am... I just stand there and stared on him, he stared on me and there was really terrible silence. I felt like I was sweating and creating the ideas like now it's time when they accuse you from falsification of passports etc etc.. people with great imagination can easily get to panic... Then there appeared some Slovak drivers from the buses who waited in the queue and noticed my passport in officer's hands. They started to ask me questions (sometimes I feel like Information Service or so..) and thanks Lord I didn't forget my mother tongue so clever officer noticed that and left me with a sealed passport :) But that feeling...

 What if Aurorae has the feet of Cniderella? Will you use your ultimate weapon? Do you recall the name of the beach? Say something starving for info... (-;
