I've lived in Julian since 1987 and I love it. No neon lights here, Julian is a designated a historic district and any structures built within a one mile radius of the townsite must resemble historic Julian structures and signage. This preserves Julian's unique, gold-rush town character. While Julian is located close too all the fun things to do in Southern California, it maintains a real small-town atmosphere and charm. I highly recommend it!

I spent so many nights in Pine Hills Lodge! :)) Julian is a great little town and I enjoyed my summer there!
