"Lima, te quiero!" a Departamento de Lima Travel Page by El_Sueco

The Departemento de Lima forms a coastal central part of Peru, at the north from the tempel of Paramonga until, in the south till San Vicente de Cañete and in the east till the high altitudes of the Andes.
The Departemento consists of ten Provincias:
Barranca, Cajatambo, Canta, Cañete, Huaral, Huarochirí, Huaura, Lima, Oyón and Yauyos.
If I shall mention something especial, it will be:
- the Lima central parts
- Miraflores - Barranco - Chorrillos
(eco-tourists shall look specially at the protected area of Pantanos de Villa south of Chorrillos)
- Pachacamac (the second most important Inca temple of the Sun)
- the road eastbound until the Andes
