"Padilla de Hita" Padilla de Hita by El_Sueco

It is hard to understand, but some buildings do attract the mind. Here is the proud little church of Padilla de Hita.
Standing alone on a little hill. The access road (the donkey stair) has grown ower and does disappear in the grass and further down by the village it has been cut away. Poor souls!
But fortunately you can come around the other way. But what was the thinking, in destroying that magnificent access road?
