    • The Iglesia Matriz is situated at the Plaza Mayor de Jauja. It was the first church constructed in Nueva Castilla, as was the name of Peru at that time.

    • Capilla de Cristo Pobre is a replica of the chapel of Notre Dame in Paris. It was constructed in 1920, in pure gothic style. It was also the first construction made in concrete in the valley.
    The chapel is placed inside the Colegio San Vicente de Paul.
