La Isla San Lorenzo - seen from Miraflores

Favorite thing: There are two islands outside Lima. The greatest is San Lorenzo. It is located just outside Callao and was earlier restricted area (but you can nowadays reach the island by boat I have been told).

Visit the beach side at Miraflores

Favorite thing: At the old road that goes down from Miraflores to the beach, grass and plants are growing. This forms a heavy green protection over the sand and stone and makes the hillside very nice looking.
The beach side of Lima - specially in Miraflores - is a sight you never forget. It makes you want to come back another time just to look again.
