Slowing Down | The Ocean at Cabanas Copal |
Twice, we have promised ourselves that we would stay on this peninsula off the 307, but the luxury of the condos and the hotels kept pulling us back in! This time we decided to shuck it all for a couple of nights at 75 bucks a pop, to forget the computers, the cell phones, even the lights and stay in one of the most beautiful places ever. Tulum is MORE than just the ruins, although they deserve your visit. the beaches here are just fabulous. They are long and narrow, letting you lounge and lounge and lounge just steps from the warm caribbean water. Even the town of Tulum itself offers some nice shopping and eating, it's still a very small town, but you will be able to find everything you need. Even the internet! FOR MORE PHOTOS PLEASE SEE THE TRAVELOGUE! thank you! |

Seeing all the beautiful stuff I didn't see on my travels there makes me want to cry. (And I've been a few times!) What a great area--I could spend years happily on those beaches. Well done, Ed. |
