That was christmas 2001 when I've first visited London, It's always been a popular city, christmas shopping is so delighted to many people. I had a great although short vacation. I have seen how busy London is on that season, and feel the spirit of christmas as i have notice people from different country shopping around.
LONDON...... this place sounds very popular and was just curious to see what they have here, what's going on and what is the real London, Yeah, nothing bad, This City is beautiful although London itself is too crowded, I have just notice in their undreground train or what local people call it "Tube", every 30 minutes comes tons of people taking this train around london.
We found a good Hotel, that was very close to Paddington Station, the area was okey, there were restaurants around and more calm than in the center of london, the transportation was not a problem, also the hotel acomodation was just good, not that expencieve.
I hope i can come back again and can observe more about London and experience the nightlife there, that was I missed during my stay there because lack of time.
- Pros:World popular and touristy City
- Cons:Crowded..just like many big cities
- In a nutshell:I hope to see more than just in London but UK

I was in London a week, and that was too short. London is indeed touristy, but there is sure a lot for tourist to see and do.
A dear friend of mine stay nearby here at Essex, Ian :) Brings my memory back. Oh really, your hubby has related with locomotives? Interesting :) Please ask him to visit SIndanglaut someday! And I just know several Dutch words. --@rie--
