A small island of Visayas, Philippines close to Panay Island. This is just the place to be..... perfect for relaxation!
Tropical Boracay Island has a perfect fine white sand beach, blue crystal water with its refreshingly coconut trees along beach. It has a friendly environment, the local people, tourists, many restaurants and cafes.

Algae naturally appears on boracay beaches from the months of april till june. It is not a product of septic tanks as you have said... Boracay island have a sewerage system that threats waste water before dumping it to the ocean. Hope this info helps. :)

The algae is not present all year round, and it's actually been present in Boracay for many years before tourism arrived (according to the locals). However, it does seem to be getting worse...
