Take a Plunge!Hi.!! Welcome to my travel page!.. just like the real V'ters, exploring different places, travelling is one of my passion!, I am one of those lucky people around...I even made it to continents, although yet not all over the world, I wish!!......at least someday.
Call me "Ian", Belgium is my home since November 1997, I visit Philippines for exotic vacation and REUNITE my family, I love being home and miss it there.

Where I've been........
I must admit,...I'm too lazy to upload new pictures and build pages. I have visited many places in Western Europe, Paris is one of my favorite city, not just because it's a romantic place but I simply I like the burstling cozy parisian town.CRETE, Greece was fabulous! me and my family was there in April, 2007, although chilling that time...I would say I enjoy it so much.In April 2004 we were in the US, We hitted the West Coast....California was our main destination! The Continental Airlines flight landed in Los Angeles, hop around the City, to Santa Monica, HollyWood, then drive towards Oceanside to visit an Aunt of me., From there, the journey continue to Arizona, we stayed a day and spend overnight in Palm Springs after our visit to Joshua Tree, we had a wonderfull day! honestly..I liked Palm Spring than the most places in L.A., From there we headed to the Grand Canyon, it was amazingly beautiful, plus drive through Route 66....and went to Nevada, On our way to Las Vegas....we got enough time to see the Lake Mead and passed Hoover Dam. The next day, we were in Vegas! after 3 days we left Vegas to see Death Valley, what a heat in April.!! we did lots of driving! we intended to see Yosemite Park but unlucky! it was still close that time due to unremoved ice that blocked and caused danger to roads!.. Mono Laake was just a few miles ahead, also a nice place to discover...ahead farther, there is the Bodie National Historical Park....same day we headed north to Lake Tahoe, a beautifull town! then Sacramento, Ca. where one of my closefriend live, the real reason why I HAVE to visit the place, our final destination was San Francisco, where my heart is.....when you speak of California!

Crete, Greece in April
exciting!!! Crete in not just the sea, nature, sun and foods, but to expercience thier culture and traditons is a wonderfull experience.
An Easter holiday in Crete is a must... big celebration in every town is held
before midnight for Easter, A local told me that they celebrate more in easter than in christmas and newyear, fireworks are everywhere, walking back home with candle from the city which there was orthodox mass and the town has covered of many people, there is a burning of Judas, making wish and kiss your loveones once you fire your candles...walk back home and celebrate the season with foods. |

Switzerland
It was my second time to Switzerland in summer, The green valley landscape are just wonderfull which you can't compare it to smaller country of Belgium. I visited "Marti" in Weinfelden, and the area of APPLES... we travelled around, the next day to "Poschiavo"...a beautiful swiss-italian town, then, back to Weinfelden on the same day, we were poured of apples and home made apple juice back home from a friend apple field plantation. |

What's next on my planner?
I really don't know yet,.... so far there's no big travel planned, I am commited to work and couldn't have at least 3 or more weeks holidays for long vacation. I could have at least some short weekend or a week trip somewhere in europe.

Manila,Philippines... latest VT Meet
I was in Philippines for 7 weeks, from Dec.15 2004 until January 27, 2005. My next day in Manila was the Grand VT Meeting held at the restaurant called "Pier One", at The Fort in Manila....we had a great fun night!..Thank You Manila V'ters, Allan ( campy012 ) and friend from L.A, (also, Kyle got his Spiderman!..Thanks uncle Allan!! ) ...and the lovely couple, Alain_Smeets and Almelain from Belgium.
My 7 weeks vacation was primarily to reunite my family during christmas season, We spent Christmas all together at one beach resort in Subic, Zambales from dec.23 until the 26'th. just a wonderfull family time....These time, we missed Boracay which I really wanted to go back!..but instead, after NewYear, we travelled South of Manila to Bicol Region towards Samar and Leyte, which I revisited my birhtplace.
......we did'nt have much Inland nor outside Philippine travels, we have been mainly focused in Subic somewhere North of Manila, which we purchased a piece of beachlot, next time hopefully building our future vacation house in the Islands of Philippines.

I sticked to this friendly site of VT since 2002, I even made not just virtual but real friends here, Absolutely fantastic experience meeting them in person!It was because of our trip to Bangkok, Thailand researching some travel infos from the net, typical.!! since then...I have my regular page check, exchanging mails and leaving comments to friends and members page, rate page, and if I'm in good mood...?
