Rhodes is one of the Dodecanesian islands in the Mediterranean sea and belongs to Greece. In the summer time the island is filled with tourists but in winter whole villages "die" of emptyness. Be prepared to get some sun, heat, Greek men all around you and a Great time in Rhodes!

Pros and Cons

Pros:Very warm climate in summer, a great place for beach activities, lots of shopping facilities, good food
Cons:Hotel rooms with no air-condition, sometimes the climate too hot
