Me and my friend began our Interrail trip from Milan, Italy last July. It was almost 40 dergrees when we arrived, we were sweating and tired but we found a cosy hostel to stay in. We left for the city to see the monuments and shops, of course, because the heat didn't allow us to say outside for too long. (The shops that had air-conditioning were really the best ones!) The city of Milan is very crowdy and busy but somehow I found it almost one of the most attractive cities we saw during the whole interrail trip. One thing I couldn't understand, was that all the Milanese people were wearing jeans and long-sleeved blouses in the heat of 40 degrees!! Well, fashion above all things =) |
