Beautiful city with wonderful restaurants and areas to explore, exploring the terrain( all of those hills)! Take a ride on the cable car, go downtown and see the city thrive as business people are hustling and bustling to get around. Try just exploring the city by foot with a map you can get at hotel and just see what the city has to offer, and its alot. Fisherman wharf is very touristy, but worth a walk through. I found the restaurants in the early evening most enjoyable..eating a wonderfully refreshing meal at any of the wonderful restaurants and looking out at the sites as people go past.. while enjoying a nice crisp chardonnay or eating a fine dover sole, the city has a vast array of restaurants. The architecture is very interesting and as you gaze at the beautiful aprartment buildings and houses, you imagine what it would be like to live in this beautiful city....
