(Update: i just got back from a trip to Tasmania. i took a heap of photos in many locations. i will be putting them up soon)

Hi. I have traveled around Australia a lot but as YET, havn't been overseas.

I've lived (ie.longer than a few months) in:

- George Town was my home town where i grew up. left then I was 18-19(in northern Tasmania, 40 mins drive from launceston)

- Launceston

- Melbourne (current home)

Tasmania is beautiful but not many musical artists or bands go there nor are there many places to 'go out' so I moved here to Melbourne which pretty good music scene which I am still exploring(havn't done enough exploring yet really)

Shopping is limited in Tasmania aswell. This doesn't matter much for a holiday, but if you live there, and want to buy some more obscure music or some audio equipment to make music with for example, it is a bit limited and you have to order it in from other states which can be expencive plus you dont get to see, touch and feel the item your buying. Its the same with any remote town really, but the gap of water(the Bass Strait)seperating this island makes it a bit harder.

Well thats enough of telling you why i left Tasmania! :)

its a lovly place to visit. Its pretty lowly populated so its not very busy and quite 'slow'. Even in Hobart, (Tasmania's Capital and biggest city), traffic is not too bad. People seem more relaxed and friendly in Tasmania than here in Melbourne I have noticed since living away from it. There is a LOT of wilderness to explorer aswell which is very much untouched.

I've lived in Tasmania all my life except the last year which was spent in Melbourne. In that time I have Traveled around the state quite a bit. Spending weekends in different places. The map here at VT doesn't go into much detail around Australia and especially Tasmania so i cant show you these places :(

Pictures will be coming soon of Melbourne

I will be visiting Tasmania again in a couple on months so i will take some digital photos over there too :)
