The Twin Cities + | Skyscapers Downtown Minneapols |
Minneapolis/St Paul is called the Twin Cities. But there are many more cities in the area. The City of Minneapolis is only a small part. It is home to about a half a million residents. I go to downtown Minneapolis twice a year for a business trip at the domed Convention Center. My sister in law lives in one of the suburbs and I know more about downtown than she does. This picture is a view of some of the skyscapers in Minneapolis. It was shot as we came up from an underground parking ramp. |
| | Minneapolis /St Paul is a hub for grain shipping. Some is sent on barges down the Mississippi. Some is processed there. These are some of the storage elevators. |
| | This is just a couple of the many bridges that cross the Mississippi River between Minneapolis and St. Paul. The bridge in the front is the one that collapsed in August of 2007. |
