Welcome to my travels. I believe-if at all possible figure out a way to get someone else to pay for me to travel. To do this I joined the U.S. Peace Corps and they sent me to the Phillipines for 28 months. I also joined the U.S. Army and got them to send me to Germany for three years. And then they sent me back again for three weeks. The only bad part is you have to work and don't get to travel all the time. I have done some traveling where I had to pay for it. They include a Caribiean cruise, a trip to Spain & Moracco where I was the only one paying full fare because my brother worked for a flight service and got employee rates, and two trips to Germany to visit family stationed there. Right now I am kind of tied down so I won't get much traveling outside the USA done. I will have to dig out some of my photo ablums to post pictures on my sites.
I am a Iowan transplanted to South Dakota by my husband who I met when we were both stationed in El Paso, Tx. Small Towns are the only place to live. I was born in a little town of about 150 people. Now I live in a town of 650. Cities are nice to visit but I like snoopy neighbors because they also care.
The picture on my home page is of me and one of the Angus cattle my family showed at fairs all over Iowa. I posted it because i can't find any recent pictures of my self only my sons. I have pictures and stuff I haven't seen since our last move 10 years ago. I am now trying to organize and find out about old pictures before both of my remaining aunts are gone.
