There are lot's of cool things to see and do in Beijing. Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Opera, Circus and of course a trip to the Great Wall are all pretty much are places not to be missed! I only stayed for 4 nights and I packed in what I could but I sure missed alot of stuff! This trip was done in 1987 so if I have price quotes for entrance fees etc...I'm sure that they are not currently accurate. I've just built this page to hopefully inspire one or two people to travel to Beijing! It's a great city!! |

bicycles sit at the lowest level of survivability in Beijing's scale. So, if you don't mind: the pollution, the creaziest and most chaotic traffic I've ever seen (and I'm Italian), the fact that you'd easily be knocked down everywhere, yes, rent a bike! | Wann Sat Jul 9, 2005 11:25 UTC
