I ran across these 3 Kodiak Brown Bears in Larsen Bay on Kodiak Island. Bear viewing can be alot of fun. Just use common sense and bear sense. Don't get between the Sow and her cubs!
Check out my pages under Kodiak and Chiniak Island. And if you don't get enough of Kodiak yet, pop on over to Kodiak pages of Kaloz , he's got some awesome Kodiak pages!
Sitka Black Tail Deer like these two are a common sight on Kodiak Island. They are common on the beaches as they eat the kelp and other seaweeds.
This is a shot of Monashka Bay from Pillar Mountain. Pillar Mountain and Monashka Bay area is a great place to do some hiking.
- Pros:Awesome Fishing, Hunting, Hiking and site seeing!!
- Cons:It can rain...just be prepared
- In a nutshell:You will love your visit to Kodiak!
