    • If you have a problem with your shoes you can find guys to fix them for a very small price. Watching them quickly fix them is worth the price!!
    You can find these guys sitting in shaded areas around the smaller streets.

    • You will find many small temples along with big temples where Buddhists can pray and make an offering. You will find these everywhere.

    • Many areas are connected by small waterways in rural Thailand and the locals quite often use these series of waterways to get around.

    • This type of stiff broom is used like more of a rake. Generally for sweeping leaves and small sticks in front of a house or on the grounds of a Temple. But they are quiet good for the doing the chore that they are designed for.

    • Thailand has the "Regular" type gas stations that would be ordinary to anyone in the west. In the small villages you will still buy gas in glass jars though. At these bigger gas stations they are full service operations like cleaning your windows and checking the air in your tires if you want.

    • The King of Thailand is very loved!! You will see signs such as this around the country. Especially if he has visited the area or has provided the funding for building of certain roads or bridges. I never met anyone that ever talked bad about the King!
