The first time I went to Baguio I was really surprised by the Pine Trees! It didn't expect to see anything like that in the Philippines. I doesn't look very tropical. But Baguio is a great place to cool down! During the day it is quite often in the 70's F. You might want a light jacket or sweater for the evening!
- Pros:Nice and cool
- In a nutshell:A little different than the rest of the Philippines

I enjoyed my wander around Baguio City.
I needed an Asia fix and I can always depend on you to provide it. Great page, Scott.
Great page Scott, looks just beatiful. You visit so many cool places we would never go, thanks for the virtual trip. Very helpfull info and the photos are fantastic! :o)
The name of this place reminds me the little town where we use to spend holidays near Bilbao :-) I guess I'd like the Philippines... at least I like the way you describe it!
Agree about Banaue! Interesting insight about the indigenous people. Usual quality pages.
Great looking scenery just outside the city and also on your bus trip to Banaue! Nice tips for the city!
The road to Banaue sounds awesome. I was here in '74, but I don't really remember it!
Barbecue, Chess, Cool climate and tropical pink- sounds very eclectic- must be full of surpises!
There are always new things you explore when you go some where take the example of pink Baguio Cathedral.
It seems a very nice place to visit. :-)
