Fort Abercrombie State Historical Park Travel Guide: 45 reviews and 68 photos
Fort Abercrombie is a fun little State Historic Park that is located just 4 miles from Downtown Kodiak. Fishing, Hiking, Swimming (summer), Historical Walks, and Whale watching are just some of the many fun things to do here! I'm also going to include Tips and photos about Mill Bay Beach Park as it is a nice little "city" park that is located about .4 of a mile from the entrance to Fort Abercrombie and is also a very popular all season destination. We go to Fort Abercrombie quite often to enjoy the forest hikes that are not too long and offer some great views and fresh air.
- Pros:Great Hiking, Fresh Air, wonderful views!!
- Cons:NONE!!
- In a nutshell:Wonderful!!
