Magical Popa

Mt Popa makes for a great half or full day trip from Bagan. I actually left Bagan at 3 Pm so I could watch the sunset. Then I returned back to Bagan in the night time.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Beautiful setting!
Cons:Agressive Monkeys

It does seem magical, just as you say, and very impressive too! I didn't realise Buddhism has also nuns besides monks!... You've just reduced my ignorance a bit! :-D

Soccer playing monks and glaring monkeys, not to mention the shoe extortionist, and to top it all off a rare yeti sighting. A fascinating and fun place.
