"Bagan - Flatland of Ancient Pagodas" Pagan by herzog63

Bagan is such a fantastic place! Lots and lots of 1000 year old Temples and it's pretty flat so it's a great place for bike riding and exploring the temples at your own pace. I only had a couple days to devote to Bagan. There are so many beautiful sites to see that a week or more (or month) would really do the area justice. I need to make a special thanks to VT Member Terrence - Ecuriosity. Without him I wouldn't have the proper names on most of my Temple photos! He has helped me indentify my photos and has helped me correct mistakes that I have made on my page! Thanks T!!!
There are so many beautiful temples in the area and my time was so limited that I wanted to visit the more spectactular of the Temples.
- Pros:Awesome Temples! Great Bicycling!
- In a nutshell:Beautiful!!

Pagoda's everywhere is right. 5000? No wonder you couldn't remember the names. Sorry about the ruined film.....that shot with the baloons sounded great..... Thanks for a great page Scott.
Wonderful pages and photos, as always.
What a wonderful page Scott! Sounds like a scene from out of an Asian fairy tale... will have to follow on your steps, or shall I say bike :)... do have to say though, the picture of the Ox cart with the temples in the background is my fav!
Look like you spend lot of time in Burma! I love to see the sunset at Bargan I think this place have the most beautiful sunset that I have even seen. Good job Scott (When I was there it's about 103F) -)))

that photo of your son on the `Old Bagan` tip is just fantastic, I really enjoyed this page Scott
Dang Scott, they are temples, not stair climbers. ;) The worst thing you can lose are photos, that really sucks. Hmm, wonder if I can squeeze Burma in too?
