Favorite Thing: With the sheer size of the ancient city of Uxmal, there are so many things to see here that you can just take the time to explore and really see the place. Climb the to the top of the pyramid (a 70% grade), explore the Nunnery Quadrangle and the Governor's palace.
Fondest Memory: The pristine beauty. You really got the feeling of being there all alone as the site is off the beaten Maya path for ruin sites. There is so much of the city left you be excavated that you can wander around and discover hidden buildings and treasures youself. It is one of the best Mayan ruin sites I have been to.
