My wife and I went to Versailles, which is a short train ride outside of Paris, about 30 minutes. It was winter, so we were fortunate to have seen a different view of what the palace and gardens were like. Even though it wasn't as pretty as say spring, it was still worth the visit. If you do go, do not go on a Monday, like we did. It was closed :-( So, we decided to walk around the palace then went to the Grand Trianon where King Louis XIV spent his time away from Versailles |
