Only the Shadow knows!

by shdw100 - last update: Apr 13, 2008

Ahhhh yes, cute little girls

The girls: Callia, Sophia, Lillia and Rosalia
Well after almost 2 years from the original update, I decided that I needed to update the picture.....so, here it is.....From oldest to youngest are the following: Callia 10 (top right), Sophia 7 (top left), Lillia 5 (bottom left) and Rosalia 2 (bottom right)......They definately keep me busy and needless to say, it will be an interesting couple of years trying to keep the boys away in the future.....
She is a cutie!
Bienvenido!

I hope that you enjoy my travel pages (I sure enjoyed taking the trips!) As always, there is too much to see, and too little money! (Even more true now that I have a family!) I have a lot of video about the different places that I have been to. I wish that VT would have video pages, but the photos will do. Come back as this page will be in the building stages for most of my sites listed. Currently my digital camera is broken, so I have to rely on the film model again :-(

Thanks
Dave

This chapter is inspired by VT friend tini58de (Christine). She has been to soooo many UNESCO world heritage sites it's unbelievable! So, I got to looking one day to see how many I had been to, and it was not that much, but I cannot complain: 41 of 812. Most of those have been on the North American continent. Palenque mystery

Favorite Place

Probably my most favorite site of the ones I have listed is Palenque, Mexico. There is just something about that historic ruin site that captivates me. With it having the lush, green jungle backdrop, the ruins just seem to rise from the ground like spirits. It is truly an incredible site to visit, and I would love to return and explore even more!
I could not sleep one night, so I decided to experiment with my digital camera a little. This picture is taken around 2am with a full moon making the shadows of the trees on the snow. I thought it looked kewl!
Each year my family makes gingerbread houses, and this year was no exception. We usually buy all sorts of candy and eat half of it before it gets on the houses! It's fun to do, and the girls enjoy it. Then, after the holidays, you just eat your house! This year we decided to do something different and used pretzels for the houses to make them look like log cabins
On December 20th, I received this wonderful award for taking first place in Leipzig's geography quiz. It's a wonderful quiz that will start up again next year! I look forward to the next round! Thanks, Christian
