This page is dedicated to those who are in Vancouver on a limited amount of time, and just want to see the basics. Even on a limited schedule we had a fantastic time, and I hope you will too!
We were in Vancouver for a family function, and due to other commitments, we only had approximately 48 hours to spend seeing the sights.
We suprisingly did very well--Vancouver isn't as spread out as it seems on maps. You tend to get to your destinations in a reasonable amount of time, unless the Lions Gate Bridge is down to one lane with an accident, which is what happened to us. |
|  | I Think He's Smiling.... If you can only see one thing, see Stanley Park and the aquarium. Don't miss out on the Beluga Whale viewing tank and the Butterfly Room where you don't know what is more beautiful, the butterflies or the tropical flowers. |
Food, Glorious Food If you can only shop in one place, make sure you head over to the Granville Island Market, where you can soak up the ambiance and admire the beautiful displays of BC produce, arts and crafts, and of course, eat! | | |
