Dubai.... It's More Than We Think !

Desert Safari Tour... Oh, it was so exciting and thrilling....

My hubby Hiroyuki.... standing on the dry and smooth sand!
Here and there we see steep sand hills, where our 4WD cars go up and down! Wow, thrilling!

Dubai has not only deserts,but also exotic markets (Spice Souk, Gold Souk),
gorgeous Royal Mirage hotel, and super modern aspect !!

Our Dubai trip itinerary(2004)

May 1 : Osaka - Hong Kong - Dubai (Royal Mirage hotel)
May 2 : Scuba Diving, Lunch at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dinner cruise(traditional Dow ship)
May 3 : Spice Souk, Gold Souk, VT Meeting, Desert Safari
May 4 : Staying in Royal Mirage hotel (Reading, Sleeping, Swimming, Parasailing!)
May 5 : Dubai - Hong Kong (Victoria Peak) - Osaka

Dubai VT Meeting

Meeting friends is the best thing to do :-)

We had Dubai VT Meeting on May 3!

Amir,Hadi,Mami, and we got together in the Deira City Center, ate Arabic lunch, and of course enjoyed chatting a lot!

After that, Hadi drove us to Royal Mirage where we were staying.
On our way, we visited Dubai Creekside, Dubai Museum.

It's full of exciting and interesting events!

Desert Safari Tour is a must!!!
Here, the man in traditional clothes is serving us Arabic coffee. And if you want, you can try Arabic water tabacco over there. (the beautiful tall vases over there.... fruity fragrance)

I would love to visit this place someday,Ayurin! All of my Aunts and Uncles with their families lives there for 2 decades now and still never gotten there..Thanks for sharing!

where r the pics of snorkelling? good pics with vters. i missed seeing u :-(excellent pics make me homesick about dubai. we lived there for 1 year, but visit rarely. did u buy any gold?
