Wat Pho and its reclining Buddha
I wanted to see the reclining Buddha... and I did :-)
Buddha is huge and shining (golden)!
I loved not only the reclining Buddha but also Wat Pho's shining architectures... such as small towers, main buildings etc.
Their roof is very beautiful.
The small towers have porcelain (bone china?) ornaments. They are very beautiful, too :-)
Address: Tha Tien Pier, Chao Phraya River, Bangkok
Directions: WAT Pho is located on Sanam Chai road and Maharaj road next to the Grand Palace.
Entrance is 20B. It's open every day, opening hours are from 08.00am to 5.00pm, with a break from 12.00pm to 1.00pm.
