We took a tour of the Castro District and noticed this billboard for Absolut Vodka. It read "Absolut Out" with a bunch of closet doors opened. This is in reference to "coming out of the closet" or someone openly admitting they are homosexual. What a creative billboard!

This is the billboard up close. This was at the corner of Castro and I can't remember the other street.

We stopped at the Horizon's restaurant, right on the marina with a grand view of the Bay. Here Paul and Rochelle do the "romantic couple" toast. Service was very friendly and food wasn't bad. See Guantanamero's pages for restaurant info.

Here we are crossing the GG Bridge into Marin. The day was a bit foggy which addeds special flava' to our pictures. In a way, all the pictures turned out to be a bit "staged". You know, like when you go to a photo studio and superimpose images on your pics?

Back in the Castro District, we came along this burger joint called Hot and Hunky. Feeling like "meat" I posed for a picture under the canvas overhang with Rochelle's suggestion. I am so dehumanized.

He barked when I knocked on the door and that was not a good start. I would try to coax him to play with me but he would only run to his corner and keep his eyes peeled on the stranger. As I sat and wept, the Bulldawg still kept a close eye on me but keeping his distance. Later that night, I guess he was feeling a bit more comfortable, he did agree to sit for a photo op.
