For those of you who visited this page earlier, I promised I would go out and try to capture some of the natural beauty of Iowa (see travelogue for previous material). And in this way, give you a feel for "my backyard". Well, here's the result.

This spring, we've been to Living History Farms, Chichaqua Bottoms, Red River Creek, Saylorville Lake, and Big Creek State Park. I've decided that all of these qualify for "Off the Beaten Path", so that's where you'll find more information. I've also included a travelogue so I could show more pictures.

This picture is from our annual Art Fair. It also shows a little of our skyline.
