at 2004 i visited banff np for 3 days , it was my 3rd visit there (1999, 1982 while living in edmonton at age of 4)
i really like this park - all the snow and water there - amazing
- Pros:the view, the snow, the water
- Cons:long flight from here - lol
- In a nutshell:one of my favorite places

this lake is beautifull and its right next to lake louise we got there abit late so we couldnt really hike alot but... more travel advice

u can take the bus ride from the visitor center to the athabasca glacier (which is a small part of the icefield... more travel advice

highway #93 - the way from banff to jasper (or from jasper to banff:-) enjoy the ride - there r some great views there more travel advice

Beautiful photos of your time in the National Parks! I envy your walk on the glacier, wish I had done that too! This area is definitely an amazing spot in the sunshine!
