I havnt been around lately, i was too busy but i think this is a great opportunity for a quick update.
for a year now ive been working for a really cool internet company - i love it there.
Few months ago i got sick - Hodgkin disease - so i had 4 chemotherapy treatment (it sucks) and I had a CT scan last week which was clean - HOORAY ...BUT i still need to continue 4 more treatments and some radiations ......I hate it - next treatment - May 31st.
Anyway , during this time i continue to work which was good for me and for some strange reason i didnt even lose my hair.....oh well maybe it will happen in the next treatments......

The worst part of this update is that we had plans to visit Alaska between May 23rd - June 25th.....so .....Next year probably.

Update #2
I am 6 months after - my last treatment was on July 19 and they canceled my radiations since I was fine - :-)
I have a ct scan next week.....and that will be it for the next year - great

I am working on my thesis now - and surprisingly its about vt community (traveling communities but it is easier for me to do it about vt) so if you got 5 minutes or so pleasssssse go here: http://www.travelsadvice.com/vt.html and fill the form - it will help me a lot :-)

oh ye and we will be going for 2 weeks to Norway during June :-)

my wishlist include mostly cold places (loooove it) such as alaska, Greenland Patagonia and Scandinavia
my next plan is to get to Alaska with some friends buy a van, bikes and kayaks and start driving to Yukon, NWT and Nunavut - just cross Canada (arctic circle) by car, bike and foot - hope to really do it one day (they must start building roads in Nunavut)

Iceberg in Newfoundland

- between sep 28 -oct 22 we traveled to nyc, boston, niagra falls, upstate ny , new england and east canada - we got married in nyc and we had a party in Israel on nov 13 - i uploaded some pages i made with pics from the party to an album here.

Our last trip - 2004
the trip was wonderfull - we had the best time over there and we got some snow at yellowstone np and at rocky mt np at colorado - it was great - i love snow!!!!!!

1982 - 1983 - we lived in edmonton, Alberta and in palo alto, California - i went to kindergarden there and i had a great time (i remember visiting the rockies and stuff....and it was cold - just the way i like it....:-) (alberta was cold...palo alto...not so much)
1985 - greece - my gradfather celebrated his 80th birthday and took all of the family (17 people) to a 10 days trip to greece)

1987 - 1 month vacation at south Africa - my dad was teaching there

1989 -syracuse - my dad spent a semster teaching there and we joined for few weeks

1993 - England and Scotalnd - just a summer trip

1994- 2 weeks visit to hungary - it was a group from school

1995 - Florida+washington DC+new england

1996 - sinai, Turkey

1997 - London - just b4 joining the army

1998 - ARMY!!!!! CANT LEAVE ISRAEL

1999 - usa & Canada the Canadian rockies, Glacier NP, Yellowstone NP Teton NP and nyc

2000 - Amsterdam Amsterdam - 8 days visit with a friend

2001 - usa & Canada - 2 months trip to Amsterdam, Iceland, Belgium, West Coast of canada and west usa (WA, Oregon, Utah California, Nevada, Arizona )

2002 - 1 month trip around east Canada , the maritime provinces (new brunswick , nova scotia, newfoundland and PEI) and new england

2003 - didnt go anywhere :-(

FEB 2004 - Atlanta -2 weeks with dad (teaching at GSU)

MARCH 2004-Lapland - winter vacation (dog sledding, aurora, ice breaker and more

May 2004 - Istanbul for a weekend

sep-oct 2004 - the Canadian and American rockies and more

Sep -Oct 2005 - north east usa and east canada with friends and my new hubby (got married at nyc city hall)

currently i live in netanya, with my husband Kfir.
for his last birthday i took him for a weekend in Istanbul which was great.

on sep-oct we went to see the rockies - started at the canadians and went all the way to colorado, then drove to vegas, utah NP's and SF and on the way we visited yellowstone, glacier np teton and mount rushmore...:-)

i can mark a big "V" on my wish list - yeeeee i got to visit Lapland last month - HOORAY!!!!!!!!
