"Hansestadt Hamburg" a Hamburg Travel Page by chancay

...I never lived in Hamburg, I have not even been too much times in Hamburg...but I love this city that has a very special flair. I would say that Hamburg is a world city, based on the international harbour that gives the city this extraordinary ambience......there is so much to say about it.....but I believe you better try to build your own idea...best way would be visiting Hamburg, second way is have a look at the pages here on VT, there are several ones, mine will be just a very little one.

There are thousands of songs about Hamburg, especially sailor songs but I just want to point out a song from the maybe first german girl group, the Lassie Singers. I only put some phrases I remember, unfortunately I didn´t find the whole lyrics...and they are in german, maybe I try to translate them later. If anyone has the whole text for me, please send me a letter.
