Favorite Thing: Most of the travellers I met didnīt like Lima at all. Ok, there are too much other interesting places in Peru, nevertheless Lima as well is a very interesting Metropolis. First weīve got downtown Lima with a lot of beautiful old buildings, an amazing cathedral next to the "plaza de armas", a lot of other beautiful churches, very interesting museums, in a lot of different districts every kind of nightlife, for example a lot of nice bars in Barranco, little villages and suburbs all around Lima with nice beaches....and so on

Favorite Thing: Really typical for Lima is the almost the whole year foggy sky. Lima people donīt know blue skies with brilliant suns.....nor a sky full of stars....because they never see. Ok, Iīm exagerating, but itīs almost like that.

Favorite Thing: one hour later the fog has gone. īThe grew sky is typical for Lima, the foggy clouds are typical for a lot of seaside places....and as quick as it comes it goes as well. That day we had a nice sunny sky and as always high temperatures. Normally in Lima thereīs no real winter, itīs never less than 10 degrees (Celsius), just this last winter 2002/2003 I heard about some "real" cold days......that means less than 10 degrees ...:-) but still not less than zero...far away.

Favorite Thing: ok ok, am repeating the point of view...point of view of the pictures I did. But that was the place I stayed and the overview from 12th floor was quite nice....and a city at night always has got itīs special beauty. So please donīt argue, itīs only a general tip here...... and I can say, Lima at night is a great place, sooo much pubs and bars and discos and salseros, marvelous scenery at Lima coast at night. Amazing, I love it.

Favorite Thing: the coast of Lima city is not advisable to do beach holiday (more in the south of Lima itīs better) but sometimes there are some surfers or para-glyder here.

Favorite Thing: the white building was once a disco. Now it is used for events, parties and concerts.

Favorite Thing: That way down through the artists destrict in Barranco is very beautiful. Left and right hand of the way are beautiful little houses, painted in different colours, some of them with restaurant or coffeebar with a fantastic view towards the ocean. Besides shadowgiving trees, much more as you usually find in the streets of Lima.
