El dia de Independencia

Tradionally on the independence day (18th of setembre) there´s a rodeo in Cauquenes. With some chilenean friends we´ve been there to see how they celebrate the day outside big towns like Santiago. It has been a beautiful party, in this kind of rodeo they don´t kill any animal, the huasos (cowboys) only show how good they can ride. Great show!

Independientes 100% not yet: they are still catholics, spanish speakers and love the Fiesta, like me, jeje

¡Qué linda experiencia! Me recordó a la "Semana Criolla" que celebramos aquí (¡sin el océano Pacífico!). Aquí les llamamos gauchos a los huasos.
