Baton Rouge! My home for 5 years! Don't you dare laugh at my needing 5 years to graduate college. This city made it tough on me with all of the readily available partying. New Orleans was just an hour away for godsakes! Anyway, I loved my time in BR. LSU has an awesome atmosphere, and I would have not changed a thing (or length of stay!) about my time here. If you can say that 28,000 people can be "close," I'd say that is the feeling of the student body. Everyone around town understands that this is a college town first. Even though this is the state capital, everyone treats the students as though they come first. Its a real special town in my opinion and a great school and campus. |
