I had heard and read all the horror stories. I had heard "just plan on one, two days MAX in Athens. Dirty, smog, hectic city were all terms that were given to me as descriptions of this city. What I found, was a great city, full of life and histry. Sure, there is no denying that it has its traffic and pollution problems. But, to overlook the ruins and numerous sites and museums woudl be a travesty. Take the time here to roam through Plaka, one of the coolest and, unfortuantely touristed, areas. |
