Transportation: Train to the Cinque Terra

    Getting TO/AROUND: If bought in La Spezia or Levanto, the Cinque Terra card will pay for your train travel into the Cinque Terra villages. You are transported by normal Italian trains in second class, and if you need first class travel for this short of a distance, what the hell are you doing in life?

    Trains run basically from about 5 AM to 1AM, with variations for weekends and holidays. Just ask at the station, if important.

    Getting TO/AROUND: One of the great things we discovered too late about the Cinque Terra are the electric vans that can pick you up and drop you anywhere in the Cinque Terra region. Believe me, if I would have known about it at the beginning, I would not have walked all the way up Manorola's hill with my backpack!!

    Make good use of them!!
