  • There are not many activities up here that you would consider "Must See" activities. But, that should be the reason you decide to come here; peace and relaxation. Daintree offers plenty of that. PK's Jungle Village is a great spot to do that, as it has a good sun-tanning spot, pool, short walk to the beach, etc. But, overall, you should be coming here to do absolutely nothing.

  • Throughout the entire area, you are able to truly experience jungle. True jungle. Massive trees with vines and swamp, animals, snakes, everything. You absolutely must take the time to roam around for as long as you can stand the heat. Look and listen for the strange birds that live up here.

PK's Jungle Village is positioned perfectly for many lengths of jungle walks. It might be the best place for you start, no matter if you stay there or not.

That warning about the stingers by itself is enough to get my attention. Isolated places aren't wholly bad. At least you can get away from it all.
