Daintree is a small area north of Cairns, in Queensland. It is about as far north as you will want to go along the eastern coast of OZ. The weather is hot and humid, but the jungle that thrives in this environment is the reason most people come here. |

That warning about the stingers by itself is enough to get my attention. Isolated places aren't wholly bad. At least you can get away from it all. |
