Château La croix des Ducs is one of the smaller vineyards in St. Emillion, at only 3 hectares of vines. This does not, however, relagte their wine to being of a lower standard. My friend's parents are friedns with the owner and set up a personal tour and tasting, which was enjoyed immensely.

Very interesting page about this beautiful little place, We did not go on a vine yard tour, wish we had though! Well Done (~_~)
It is a fabulous place isn't it. Still have to go back to climb the tour de Roi for the view and the experience..
this page is bursting with notes of plum and blackberry along with subtle hints of vanilla. . . but my judgment may be impaired since i'm 3/4 of the way through a bottle of tempranillo!
