Just stay in Hotel St Petersburg in May 06. Very disappointed with the service there. They squeezes every dollar from guest, from visa registration and pay 80 Rub (US$3) per luggage and US$135 for renovated rm with malfunction 14inch TV? avoid this hotel.
Good page! Sankt Peterburg is one of the cities I'd most love to visit. You could mention in your tip Puskin's poem "The bronze horseman", inspired from the statue of the tsar.
This was an accident. But at least my computer didn't crash. It's nice to see St. Petersburg without the traffic. Thanks. :)
Just returned from 2 days in SPb. We had cloudy weather which was a shame for photos! Like your observations & tips! It's a city of great contrasts, isn't it!?!
