There are so many things to say about Prague that I have no idea where to start. I have been lucky to have spent a lot of time in this magnificant city. In my opinion it is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Let me tell you why:
* Prague has a perfect size for a metropolis (not too big with its 1.2 million people)
* It is extraordinarily rich in history and architecture
* A huge old town where you can wonder around for days and still discover many new buildings and places that you hadn't noticed or seen before.
* The city is still reasonably cheap and many things appear to be affordable compared to some other big cities in Europe where one evening out can easily cost you a fortune.
* It has a great location -- you are only few hours from other Eastern block countries like Slovakia or Poland, yet it won't take you much longer to be in Germany or Austria.

Is the Plzensky Restaurant Andel also a good place to just sit and try different Czech beers and maybe meet people? |
