Edinburgh is one of these unique cities where you seem to find everything. You can enjoy long walks in the old town or go to some parks. There are many fantastic museums and a lot of history that takes days to digest. If you like to eat, there is a large variety of great restaurants. Since Edinburgh is situated so close to the water, you can have fabulous seafood:) There are many options for night life if you are up to it after long days of sightseeing. The only thing that you may not get is the nice weather. I was fortunate to have four sunny days in Edinburgh and hope that you will be able to have the same!

Thanks to my friend Pete I know now that the man I am sitting with on this photo is called Sandy Irvine Robertson. He's the one who founded the Scottish Business Achievement Award Trust. According to my friend Pete, this award is given to people who have made lots of money. One of the award winners, (Sir) Tom Hunter has already given £100 million to help reduce poverty among children in Scotland and Africa, and just pledged to donate a total of ONE BILLION POUNDS to similar causes within the shortest time possible for arranging this!
