CAPE TOWN

Waterfront & Table Mountain
******************************************************************************************************************************************************

Life has proven me that having too high expectations will lead to disappointment. But there are exceptions in life, right? Cape Town was definitely one. It was hard not to have high expectations of the city because every time I mentioned the word combination 'Cape Town', people had endless good stories to share. Still, noone could make me realize how great the city was until I went there myself.

My Cape Town experience was as great as it was especially thanks to Glenn (VT-Glennkasner) and his family. Until this day I am taken by their friendliness and their ability to make me so welcome. Thank you so much Glenn, Maritha and Jacki!!

My favorite sites/activities during my stay in Cape Town:

* Meeting with Glenn and his family
* Hiking up to the Table Mountain
* Walking around and dining at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront
* Visiting the Bo-Kaap area where the Cape Malays settled in the 1830s and that is still home to many Cape Muslims
* And of course exploring the whole Cape Peninsula area: Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point, Simon's Town with its large jackass penguin colony, Fish Hoek, and Hout Bay.

During your visit through my Cape Town pages, you will find tips and photos about all the above-mentioned attractions.
E-N-J-O-Y! And I hope you will get to visit Cape Town soon!
